Day-by-Day Itinerary(10 days)
Altitude Profile
Peak: 3,210 m · Day 5The Yoga and Trekking Nepal programme combines daily morning yoga practice with afternoon treks through the Annapurna foothills — creating a 10-day experience that is as restorative as it is adventurous. Each morning, a certified yoga instructor leads an 80-minute practice on the mountain lodge terrace: sun salutations with Machapuchare in the background, pranayama breathing at altitude, and evening meditation sessions as the peaks fade to silhouette. The afternoons are trekking: 3–5 hours on the Annapurna trails above Pokhara, reaching viewpoints and Gurung villages that ground the meditation practice in very specific mountain reality.
The itinerary stays below 3,200 m (Poon Hill), keeping the altitude accessible without altitude sickness risk while still delivering dramatic Himalayan scenery. Yoga mats and props are provided at each lodge. The yoga instructor is available for individual adjustments and practice consultation throughout the trip — this is not a token 20-minute stretch session added to a standard trek.
The programme suits practitioners of any level from complete beginners to experienced yogis. The combination of physical trekking and meditative practice creates a recovery/adventure balance that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world.
Best seasons: October–November and March–May. Start: Pokhara (private jeep to trailhead included). Max altitude: Poon Hill 3,210 m.
